Vendor Rules and Regulations
“Paint the Town Red” will be held on Saturday, April 14th from 7PM – Midnight in the “Loft District” of Birmingham, located between 1st Avenue and 3rd Avenue North and 24th and 22nd Streets.
Streets will be open for vendors beginning between Noon and 3 PM. Golf carts will be available to assist you in ferrying merchandise in and out of the parks. Vendors should be ready for business by 5 PM.
Festival hours are advertised from 7 PM until Midnight.
Please check-in at the designated locations, and Red Cross staff will escort you to your booth location. Please post all applicable licenses at your booth. Parking can become a problem after 4:30 PM, so arrive early to secure a convenient space on the streets surrounding the festival.
All deliveries to the parks must be cleared by Red Cross staff in advance, and must pass through designated vendor entrances ONLY. Security will allow you to park and unload, but cars left unattended for more than 15 minutes will be towed at owner expense.
All food vendors will be sent a form to fill out and return to the Jefferson County Health Dept. BE SURE TO SEND IT TO THEM. Failure to do so is a Health Dept. violation, and may result in eviction from the festival. Deposits to the Red Cross will not be refunded in case of such an event. Also, if you are cooking food, the Fire Marshall will inspect your booth before opening. We will send you the regulations in advance. Red Cross is not responsible if codes and regulations are not met, and deposits will not be refunded.
