Your Work Here
On April 16, 2011 the Birmingham-Jefferson Chapter of the American Red Cross will turn a section of Birmingham’s “Loft District” into an outdoor digital art show featuring digital artists from around the globe! Illuminated art will be projected on screens and buildings along 2nd Avenue North between 22nd and 24th Street. We will accept entries between January 1st and March 25th, 2011. The top fifty pieces will be projected and juried by a panel of judges. We are looking for innovative and visually compelling examples of: digital graphic art, digital animations (less than 2 min.), digital photography, digitally altered photography, and interactive concepts. Digital photographs of fine art will not be accepted.
Artwork can be vertical or horizontal format. Strong consideration will be given to pieces using the color red. Each artist may submit 2 pieces of art for free. Additional work can be submitted with a $25 entry fee.
ARTISTS RETAIN 100% OWNERSHIP OF THEIR WORK, although please note that by submitting an entry you agree to allow the American Red Cross the right to use photographic reproductions of your artwork for promotional purposes, both in print and online.
